Gabrielle is a freelance womenswear, surface pattern and accessories designer. Her client list includes Harrods, Peony Scarves, Busy B and Bohemia Design Ltd.
Since graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion from Northumbria University in 2009, Gabrielle has worked directly and via suppliers for brands including House of Fraser, Designers at Debenhams, Fat Face, Topshop, Joules (Rampant Sporting) and Ness clothing.
A move to Edinburgh in 2013 led Gabrielle to utilise her love of print design to create a range of printed home accessories inspired by her surroundings, resulting in Gabrielle launching her brand Braw Scotland.
She has recently relocated back to her homeland in The Cotswolds and is rapidly building up her freelance design business. Gabrielle is able to design in a variety of different handwritings depending upon the brand and is used to working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. She has her finger on the pulse when it comes to colour and trend forecasting, and uses her excellent hand-drawing and photoshop/illustrator skills to build best-selling print and/or product ranges.
If required, she also has in-depth experience in communicating with factories overseas and in the UK, creating detailed product spec packs and designing to a budget.
Gabrielle is interested in building a close and long-term relationship with womenswear, greetings cards, stationery, wallpaper/interiors fabrics and home accessories brands. Her current clients come back to her on a regular basis with new projects as the working relationship is based on trust and integrity and Gabrielle's ability to design best-sellers.
